The 1949-S Roosevelt Dime (Buy on eBay) is one of the only regular issues of the series that carries a premium across both circulated and uncirculated grades. The mintage of the coin was 13,510,000, which was the second lowest of the circulation strike silver issues.

The 1949-S dime has traditionally been viewed as the highest priced coin of the series. The coin is valued at about $5 in EF-40, with the value rising to $42 for MS-65 graded examples.
For PCGS and NGC graded examples, particular attention should be paid to mint state coins attaining the “FB” or “FT” designation. Higher grade examples with the designation drive much larger premiums.
